Rigid and compact arc-welded steel opposed roller feeder. The rollers are synchronously driven by the press cam shaft by means of a lever mechanism, thereby combining increased traction and greater feed speed on the strip as well as pin-point positioning. The rollers are pushed together by an easily adjustable electropneumatic low air consumption system. The feeder is secured directly to the press bench and can be both vertically and horizontally adjusted, which is useful when tooling the die.
