Electronic Gripper Feeders – A.E.P./A.E.P.I Series

Electronic Gripper Feeders are designed for the automatic feeding of thin, delicate, pre-painted or high-finish coil material to the press, where precision and sheet metal protection are essential. They represent an alternative to electronic roller feeders when roller feeding is unsuitable or may damage the material surface.

The gripper clamping system, with pneumatic actuators (AEP Series) or hydraulic actuators (AEPI Series), eliminates the risk of slipping during feeding.

Thanks to the rigid welded-steel structure, brushless servomotor and ball-screw transmission, stable feeding is ensured while minimizing mechanical backlash, even with variable feed pitches.

The feeder is installed on an elevated support base mounted to the press bed, with vertical adjustment to facilitate alignment with the die and integration into the production line.

The electronic control system allows complete management of the operating parameters, including feed pitch, speed, acceleration, machine status and storage of working configurations.
