Integrated feeding and straightening for coil-fed sheet metal

The A.R. Series is an integrated feeding and straightening unit for coil-fed sheet metal, designed for industrial presses and sheet metal stamping lines requiring accurate feeding, consistent flatness and reduced overall dimensions.

It combines electronic roller feeding and motorized straightening functions in a single machine, providing a compact solution when the plant layout requires limited space and integrated material handling at the die entry.

The robust welded-steel structure incorporates an upper hydraulic roller assembly with controlled opening and a motorized lower roller assembly equipped with a brushless servomotor, precision gearbox and oil-bath transmission.

Feed pitch control can be performed either through motor feedback or by means of a measuring-wheel encoder in contact with the sheet metal. This solution helps maintain high feeding accuracy even with slippery or low-friction materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.

The system is controlled through an on-board electronic control panel, allowing the operator to set feed pitches, including negative values, adjust speed and acceleration, display operating parameters and store working configurations.

The A.R. Series is suitable for production systems with variable requirements where feeding accuracy, sheet metal flatness and the processing of materials with different thicknesses or high-strength materials are essential.
