Decoilers and Recoilers for Coils — Series S

Series S Decoilers are designed to unwind or rewind coils to or from a second machine within feeding lines for industrial presses.

The compact welded-steel structure ensures high strength and is designed for handling by forklift.

The mandrel can be supplied with manual or electro-hydraulic expansion and with either braked free rotation or motorized rotation, depending on the material weight and operating requirements.

Series S Decoilers can be equipped with a wide range of optional accessories, including hold-down arms, adjustable strip guides, safety barriers, variable speed and different loop-control systems using contact rollers or laser sensors.

The Series S is also available in a double-mandrel version with rotating body, a solution designed to reduce coil changeover times.

All Series S Decoilers can also be configured as recoilers for recoiling operations, material recovery or controlled handling of production scrap.

In addition to sheet metal, Alix also manufactures special configurations for plastics, paper, technical strips, production scrap and carbon-fiber sheets, adapting the machine to the characteristics of the material and the production process.
