The Alix Mod. AF 350 P sharpening machine is designed for sharpening the tooth profile of band saw blades for log saws.

It is a simple and functional machine, suitable for large sawmills and sharpening centers specialized in blade maintenance, and is designed to ensure high material removal rates.

The machine features a compact and extremely rigid steel structure that minimizes all types of vibration.

The tooth profile is generated by means of a double-cam system.

The grinding wheel dressing device, which can also be fully automatic, ensures a correct and consistent grinding wheel profile throughout the entire wheel life. The profile can nevertheless be adjusted to optimize the geometry of each tooth.

The vertical adjustment of the blade support stand is motorized, allowing highly accurate blade positioning.

The vice is pneumatically operated and the clamping force is adjustable.

The control panel is ergonomically positioned and easy to understand. All movements are displayed and can be carried out manually using the controls on the panel.

The machine also offers the possibility of storing programs for twenty different tooth profiles.

Machine programming, grinding wheel dimensions, the large quantity of coolant used and the variable grinding wheel speed make this machine particularly suitable for high-volume production.

This sharpening machine is manufactured in a right-hand version and is available with a wide range of optional equipment, allowing the machine to be customized to specific production requirements.
